Become an LHA Design Guideline Assessor
The nationally agreed Livable Housing Design Guidelines assist people to understand, promote and deliver livable designed homes. The Guidelines provide technical advice and guidance on the key easy living features that make a home easier and safer in which to live for people of all ages and abilities.
This course is a pre cursor to applying to becoming an LHA Design Guideline Assessor. LHA Design Guideline Assessors operate as independent consultants who evaluate the design and completed construction of residential dwellings against the national Livable Housing Design Guidelines. Major projects such as the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village (CGAV) on the Gold Coast are moving into Livable Housing and will be assessed by LHA assessors.
